Introduce Your Comic and You! (Old Thread) - GC Forums
community
Hello, everybody!
Been here for a minute but I've never properly introduced myself. I'm Jon in meatspace, Zomburai! on the tubes, and representing Inkt Comics everywhere.
I'm now doing art chores on Gear Girl, an all-ages sci-fi adventure comic wherein a girl from the future has been sent back to the past to save the future with the help of an extra-dimensional fugitive, the fugitive's butler, two government agents, the girl's parents' younger selves, and a giant time-traveling monster-punching robot!
The series was created and is being written by AngryRob (creator of Love Kills Slowly at ComicFury)! Art, letters, and colors are being handled by yours truly.
Been a while since I've done a regular comic series but I really believe in the potential and promise of this book. I hope you'll give it a try.
Read it here: https://globalcomix.com/c/gear-girl/chapters/en/1/1/1
@Zomburai Looks promising! How long is this estimated for? Is it more of a single longer premise, or smaller episodic stories? I'm curious to see more!
@ArtCrumbs - Unsure! We have the ending in mind but we're not sure how long it's going to take to get there. I'd estimate ten standard-length issues of story at minimum, but ultimately that's more of a Rob question than a Zomb! question
Thanks for the kind words! Hope we can we can fulfill that promise!
@Zomburai Sounds good! Looking forward to more!
Hey to everyone,
I just joined and hoping to put up a bunch of my comics on the site. My name is John Holland I've been writing comics for a long time. I'm mostly self publishing nowadays, but will still go to other publishers too.
In fact, It's Alive Comics is publishing my A Girl and Her Dog this coming July. Tony Isabella, the creator of Black Lighting called it one of the best comics of this year.
Anartatic Press is going to put out my Two Tons of Fury in December. This comic is a lot of fun and brings back Herbie and Fatman the Human Flying Saucer for a showdown.
I've put up the first issue of Alma here, and am hard at work on the second issue now, with the script with the artist who is busy drawing it. Alma answers the question "What if Buffy was a 72 year old Grandmother?"
You can find it here.

I've also posted my comic Voodoo which is a history and comic featuring some stories of Marie Laveau.
It's here.

Hi! I'm Coydog a/k/a Amber Chrome and 3Machines is my book! I learned about your site on Reddit and decided I'd give it a try. Coydog Press is my label
3Machines is here https://globalcomix.com/c/3machines-book-1?lang=en
The best tag line I could come up with is this: "Those Saturday morning vibes are back - with afterburners, turbochargers and NO executive meddling!" Now comes the detail:
Three people from a dimension of living machines were kidnapped by the Merchants of Matter and forced into human form, and can only access their original shapes for a few hours out of each day period. They were going to be among the first to be marketed and sold to the powers of Earth as easily hidden and transported living weapons, but this trio had other ideas and eventually made their escape. They found a new home in a remote desert town, an oasis of safety and sanity in a society that is rapidly destabilizing.
One day they are escorting a caravan of refugees to safer areas in "the sixty-six" but must contend with the drone weapons of their former captors. Each of them reverts to their original form to deal with the menace, but they are wildly different as machines. How could they possibly work together? Come and see for yourself!
Hello, I'm new here but I've been posting webcomics for a while now. My name is daisam, which a name I've been using since I was in high school. I love to create stories that look cute and peaceful and then turn into a dark set story. My current series is called Suddenly I've Become a Ninja Master, which I created as a joke comic back in 2013-2015 as a fast story to release chapters. I came back to the story and it ended up growing into the piece it is today. I hope for people to enjoy it!
https://globalcomix.com/c/suddenly-i-ve-become-a-ninja-master
The story follows our main character, Cocoa, and her family/friends as they learn the truth about humanity's greatest creation, the mana injections, that allow people to use magic and generate it with their own bodies. But there are secrets hidden behind this and some people even close to her hide a dark secret. that comes to light throughout the series. It's a look at society as it's corrupted from the inside out and how everyone has skeletons in their closet!
I just made Alma The Champion free for everyone to read. Here's a brief description of the comic:
What if Buffy was a 72-year-old Grandmother?
Alma Bernard is in her garden when she is struck by the power of the champion and reborn. Coming to her aid is the Eternal Companion, born this life as a foul-mouthed garden gnome.
Alma is charged with fighting the demons and monsters that inhabit our world and keeping the world safe from such terrors.
Aiding her in this fight beside Tyrone, her garden gnome companion will be the ghost of her dead husband and her 15-year-old granddaughter Katie.
Hey gang!
My name is Thacher E. Cleveland and I'm a writer of comics and prose, as well as a letterer and graphic designer.
I just published my first comic on here, GRIM REEFER, a horror/comedy miniseries about a crop of marijuana that was grown on the spot where a violent criminal was killed. Now anyone who smokes it gets possessed by his ghost and he uses their body to continue his kill-crazy rampage!

@JohnH985 Welcome to GlobalComix! I made sure to read through some of your works. I think Alma was my favorite. Great job on these and I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.
@cantrell I finally had some time to sit down and read this one. The cursed hair is a really interesting twist. I'm only through the first issue, so I have a lot more to read, but I'm definitely looking forward to it! The shopkeeper was adorable!
@ArtCrumbs Thanks! I appreciate you taking time to read it. Let me know if you have any questions.
@cantrell I'll have to keep reading it! My reading list is gigantic! hehe I'm curious to see how the second release goes. I'm curious what trouble they can get into lmao
@ArtCrumbs Trust me, if trouble is lurking around, they'll bump into it.

Heyo! I am Victory, a weird anime artist whose art is sparkly and colorful and is the creator of Jojo's Record Raid / JRR here on Globalcomix!
I discovered Globalcomix via my mutuals on Twitter recommending it to me, and originally while JRR is posted on Webtoon Canvas, I decided to give this place a try and I sure don't regret it <3
Jojo's Record Raid is about the story of multiple worlds (If familiar, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Magia Record and King's Raid) all combining into one and follows the journey of a group of a new generation as they try to crack a seemingly unsolvable mystery, make friends and enemies along the way, plus add in chaos, diversity and fun to it! :D
You can read the comic via the link below, hope to make friends around here! Loving the Globalcomix community already! <333

Hi there, ive been sent here by my friends on ONTENTERHOOK! i couldnt find any information on how to embed links in forum posts here, so the link will look a little wonky...
1. Sev Wildfang
2. Souls Foreclosed
3. https://globalcomix.com/c/souls-foreclosed-unholy-savior?lang=en
4. "Satan recruits 2 queer demons to wipe the floor with soul-stealing christofascist vampires in ye olde west" is the most concise i can offer in terms of a summary. it looks like if grunge comix had been invented in the 1890s.
5. ive yet to figure out how to embed images here... :(
Hey everyone!
1. I'm Birdy!
2. My comic is called Clockwork
3. https://globalcomix.com/c/clockwork
4. Clockwork takes place in 1907 Paris, and follows the story of a clock repairman who comes across a mysterious automaton. As strange events begin to unfold, you learn more about him and about what exactly this automaton's deal is. I'd recommend for anyone who likes hiatorical fiction and fashion, 1900s belle epoque and art nouveau aesthetics, and maybe even a little dash of horror 🤫😉

We are an artist and writer duo hailing from the UK! We've been wanting to write comics together for ages, and decided that it was time to finally start producing them! Our current ongoing project is Legacy: A comic about a group of people brought together from different worlds to the world of Amysse, a world where time has stopped. The heroes have to travel and gain abilities in order to commune with a Goddess! Coming across various obstacles along the way.
A slow burn, lore heavy, comic focusing on action and friendship!
