Hello awesome indie comic community!

I discovered GlobalComix via Band of Bards Comics on twitter. I'm an aspiring comic creator and always on the look out for new platforms for my work.

I'm Andy J. Clarke.

My debut comic is FLUX, a sci-fi saga which is still ongoing. It is available in single issue print as well as different digital formats. The plan is to have a trade paperback collecting the first five issues (once issue five is complete).

FLUX is a character driven sci-fi saga, following two "ordinary" people who find themselves in extraordinary and dangerous circumstances. Mai Taren, the daughter of a freighter captain whose world crashes down around her and is snatched away to be indoctrinated into an illegal army. And Iain Ortha, a man who cheated death, the cost of which is waking into a world he doesn't know 500 years after going to sleep. Their paths will cross as they find themselves in the middle of a tale of conspiracy and intrigue.

I was told of GlobalComix by a friend and told it is a great place to make a success in indie comics

Here is the synopsis for the series

Sent to another realm to stop a powerful monster that threatens his realm, and all realms. Prince Atgeir Sol is determent to kill it, but he will need help. That comes in Kaylan, a faun mage and Kamaria a bold sorceress. On the way he finds out that his mission to kill the monster, has more to it then he fought.

Steamroller Man is a superhero comedy in the vein of things like The Tick, Venture Bros and the 1960s Batman TV show. I've been working on it since about 2018.

It's a Fantasy Isekai. North, The MC, gets saddled with an ancient demon hunting weapon and flung into a fantasy world where he has to work with a duo of demon hunting warrior ladies, (an orc and a woflgirl)

Wow, never realized this site had a forum. I'm not the most social, but I should introduce myself.

Honestly don't remember how I stumbled onto GlobalComix, I might have seen someone talk about it on Twitter or a Forum a couple years ago, and joined on impulse.

1. My name is Copper. It's not my real name, but I'm not too fond of that on.

2. My comic is called 'The Guide to a Healthy Relationship'. Don't let the title fool you it's not a self-help guide, nor does it have any romance.

4. First off, TGtaHR is for a 17 or older audience due to nudity, profanity and substance abuse. So don't click the link if you're under that age.
So my comic is essentially a character study focusing on darker topics like abuse, mental health struggles and trauma. While I try to be as respectful with it as possible it isn't for most people, the story is probably best for cathartic types or people who generally enjoy uncomfortable fiction. It's also somewhat slow-burn, almost plotless, given the focus is on basically an interpersonal event in the MC's lives, and not so much a major goal. You can say there is a goal from the reader's perspective, but the characters have no ambitions what-so-ever.
If you're curious why I'd make such a comic. It's a vent thing of sorts, a mix of personal experiences, and stuff I've internalized from peers, family members and friends throughout my life. TGtaHR is here to help me get all that out of my system, plus find like-minded folks who deal with stuff in the same way. (Via transgressive fiction/art.)

Genres: Drama | Psychological | Slice-of-Life (There is also a bit of LGBT+ stuff in there.)
General summary: Apollo is doing fine. Just fine. He bartends, parties and drinks with his friends, and talks to a picture of his dead childhood friend. He's fine. Until he thinks he sees his dead friend during a night out drinking.

The plot:
In the Imperial Kingdom, there are common people and Masters who develop particular abilities called Skills, but the law says that only the Imperial Masters in the service of the King can practice their skill. Anyone who disobeys this law will be considered a criminal. Kain and Mel live in the small village of Canan, together they will challenge the power of Imperial to protect each other.

I am working on the translation of the chapters from Italian into English. I hope you'll like it :) Into this comic there is all my heart <3 I have made the first chapter in 2009, so be kind!

Snake tells the story of Eliza. A girl that ran away from home and joined an outlaw gang. After terrorizing every town on their way, she looks for redemption. In this 2 part story, she will find out that Redemption is not easy specially when she find out that her past has a lot of things that she didn't knew about.

It's a serial comic strip, much like the syndicated comic For Better Or For Worse, but far more dysfunctional and outlandish.

I've found tapas and webtoons to be extremely maga/anime heavy, which kind of buries western style comics into an obscure corner. Hopefully globalcomix is the answer to getting all the various styles, east and west a chance to be found and seen.

@ArtCrumbs YES IT DID! Thank you! I’ll add that as I’ve learned more about Daz it’s gotten easier. I’m more streamlined and learning about film helps too

@Red22Studios Oh for sure! Film is super helpful in terms of understanding camera angles, camera movement, etc and how it can all apply to comics!

I've found this site through a twitter user who recommended it!

I go by Sterki Herz! Basically, 'Sterki' means 'Strong' and it's a scandinavian adjective used during Vikings Era; meanwhile 'Herz' means 'Heart' in German. So it kinda means 'Strong Heart', or at least that's the meaning I use!

Hey, Hi, How are ya?

First off, I found out about this place through a retweet on Twitter. Surprised I never saw it before now but better late than never.

My name is Chris M. Cantrell and I'm a comic / webcomic creator. I've been producing content for over 20 years now and have several titles under my belt that I would consider cult classics.

The series I've decided to test run here is a newer manga-style series called Necroblivion. It was a project I'd wanted to tackle for a while now and the whole shutdown thing gave me nearly a year of time to finally start it.

It stars a young woman who's a necromancer / treasure hunter who has the soul of a thief trapped in her hair. When she takes a contract for some coin, she unknowingly releases a tyrant from his prison and is thrust into a war for the survival of the realm.
