Print On Demand With GlobalComix Press™ Powered By Ox Eye Media

We’re proud to announce that GlobalComix and Ox Eye Media Inc., parent company of Source Point Press, are teaming up for the joint development of GlobalComix Press™, powered by Ox Eye Media. GC Press™ is the first consumer-facing, digital + physical sales with an on-demand printing service for comics worldwide.

Together with a marketplace of comic sales fulfilled through drop-shipping, we’re developing a suite of tools for creators to manage their print file upload and production orders. It comes bundled with automated printability checks on upload that simplify getting your PDFs approved for printing, shifting focus onto getting high production quality comics into readers’ hands.

We’re also working on some really cool concepts around variants and personalizations for everyone - a possibility that is just recently available due to “batch size of 1” capability by production equipment / printers. We can imagine things like delivering a custom curated experience for every collector based on options made available in the UI before placing an order.

By combining GlobalComix’s cutting-edge technology and digital infrastructure with Ox Eye Media’s proven experience with producing comics and games, printing, logistics and physical distribution, we want to open up physical comics to everyone from creators worldwide, all with the press of a button.
