Earn Subscription Revenue on Your Free Previews

By ArtCrumbsHeadquarters • May 7, 2024 4

Today we’re proud to announce an improvement to how you can monetize your comics - even when you want to offer free previews. We’ve introduced new functionality that pays out subscription revenue for free page reads, as long as there is a paywall somewhere in the series.

This gives you the flexibility to offer more free pages or even free releases, and still earn money when a GlobalComix Gold member reads your series. Some of you may have already noticed that you have pending income, and this improvement is why.

Everyone can do it, and there are no surprises:

  • You don’t sign a contract.
  • No minimum page reads or publishing schedule is required to...

@KenBee313 That percentage depends on a few different factors such as if you have Creator Pro or some other partnership level with GlobalComix. You can find out what your percentage is by going to Creator settings > Revenue > Payout settings. The percentage amount is the share that you will get after all the revenue is doled out to creators/publishers.

For example: If your earnings are 1$ USD, and your share is 65% (standard), you will get $0.65 of that dollar. That amount will then go to your pending income for confimation. Once confirmed, it will be in your confirmed income section. <br>

Creator Tips and Tricks: Panel-to-Panel mode and Frames

By ArtCrumbsCommunity • May 24, 2023 4

Panel-to-panel reading has been a tool in digital comics in many forms and on many platforms. GlobalComix also has this tool, and we've got a step by step here to guide you through it! This feature allows creators and publishers to set up frames so that readers can read panel-to-panel, which is ideal for mobile reading. In the age of digital comics and mobile devices, it can be a real help to your readers to give them this option.

But let's dig into the tool and how to use it! I'll be using my manga Godsbane as a demonstration, as I don't currently have any frames on it. This way, you can see me start from scratch.

By ArtCrumbsCommunity • Aug 9, 2022 2

Publishing is not an easy field of work. Long nights, tight deadlines, and an air of mystery about how publishing works behind the scenes. Editorial and graphic design work are important aspects to consider when publishing your own series, espeically if you plan to start your own magazine.

Over the past 18 months or so, we’ve interfaced with many of the industry’s best and up-and-coming creators and publishers. In doing so, we have learned the most common reservations and misconceptions about digital publishing in general, as well as specific to GlobalComix. Announcing GlobalComix for Teams

By ChristopherHeadquarters • Oct 28, 2020 0

We’ve spoken with many creators and publishers in the past year. Despite each of their unique styles, most of them share a lot of the same needs. This is particularly true when it comes to letting more than one person or account manage published content, marketing, or finances.

Here’s some stories we’ve heard:

  • We are a team of people with different responsibilities for publishing, marketing, and business administration.
  • We are a partnership of 2 (or more) individuals who are creating and publishing together as a collaboration.
  • I am a creator who sometimes has people help me with <x> role of publishing.
  • I am a solo operator who manages everything...
