Hello! This is Gehr Studios, and most of the comics made by me are comedic adventures starring namesake Gehr, and Erie, two stick figures. I found Global Comix online as one of many different platforms to upload comics from and I really liked the customisation this platform provides me, hence why I chose to join here and post my comics.

My name is Chase, and I'm the creator of The Old-World Statues - a dark fantasy comic that follows a young prince and his three companions as they travel across the land to find the mysterious 'Old-World Statues'.

The Old-World Statues is planned to be a long character-driven story that is heavily influenced by western mysticism and other esoteric/ occult readings. In this story I hope to touch on metaphysical concepts in a unique and interesting way. But, while I want to do some weird, surreal stuff in this comic, what I want people to remember the most are the characters that drive the weird, surreal stuff.

I started posting my comic Good Monsters here but I already have it in some more platforms.

Good Monsters is a simple comic, about a school full of monsters where the protagonits want to be scary to reach the maximun title of "Good Monster" but as you can image, they are not scary at all. They will have funny situations and a slow developpement of the story, because the main point of the comic is to have "gag-a-day" strips.

@Agentny003 Your chapters are in the reverse order. You need to have the first chapter at the bottom right in your manage releases page and the newest one at the top left. It's designed so that the newest chapter is at the very top of the page.

You have this problem for both series. You'll need to correct that ASAP. If you need help with that, let me know and I'll be happy to assist. You can drag them into the correct order.

I am Beef!

I write and draw Uneven Keel, which you can read full chapters of here on globalcomix (https://globalcomix.com/c/uneven-keel ) or in standard MWF page-by-page style on the main site (https://uneven-keel.com).

I've been working on it for a while - it follows the titular winged protagonist, Keel, as he deals with the aftermath of his home burning to the ground. It's a slow waltz through trauma, relationships, and redemption. There is also a secondary protagonist, Laki, whose eyes we get to see through every other chapter. The two have similar tales and are meant to reflect the other.

In order to be able to keep my upload pace, I prefer a looser, sketchy style. I'm not sure how to add images to forum posts - otherwise, I'd show off my boats!
