My goals for the second half of the year were/are to write various projects including comics. I left an overseas teaching position to come back home to America where I'm taking time off to write. I have an office in my house where I've been spending my mornings writing. My goal for November is to finish writing a graphic novel. I've just about finished a miniseries based on characters from my last comic. Also working on some non-comics writing. So far, it's mostly gone well, and I hope to finish the year strong.

thanks for posting. Just read the first issue and I like the basic idea. One nitpicky thing but I'm not sure if homeschooling was a thing in 1978, I could be wrong. Also curious why you set it i 78 but I suppose reading more may answer that.

Advice I often hear for writing is show your characters doing stuff and not telling. You have that tornado sequence, but we don't see the character actually stopping the tornado. I feel like we ought to see that. Also, the family just seems to be really accepting that an angel is living with them. Anyway, I will go back and read more. Good stuff.

Hello everyone. I just joined Global Comix where I have my new comic Billy the Kid Meets the Masked Striker. It is a one shot comic set in the old west, where Billy the Kid meets up with characters I have created. I wrote the comic, and the art is by Roy Allen Martinez, who has done work with DC comic.
