I've been drawing on and off my entire life, ever since I could hold a pencil I was drawing. Comics, however, have always just been a pipe dream for me. I would always tell myself I didn't have time or they would die off because my job took priority. But finally I just bit the bullet and started one for real.

So I'm Crisp, and I've started a breezy-ish comic where the main ethos is to just write and draw things as they come to me. It's about a school where only beautiful people are allowed to enrol, which invariably fills it with all sorts of weirdos, ghosts, vampires, fairies, and whatever else I put in when the mood hits.

I discovered Global Comix watching a post on Instagram, and after checking out the site, decided it would be the perfect place to showcase my comics under the name Dead End Press.

I have released the first issue of my Horror anthology series, Torment and I’m currently finishing up the 4th issue of, Tales of Error_ my ongoing sci-fi anthology series.

I’m really excited to share the new stories I’m working on and will share updates on those in the coming months.

Tales of Error_ #3 was recently released and tells the story of a soldier who embarks on a mission that reveals unhealed wounds from his past.

I searched for places to post my comic, compiled a list, and checked this one out since it seemed the most inviting.

I’m new to GlobalComix, and have only recently stumbled upon its existence while falling down into the depths of a YouTube rabbit hole. Figured I would test it out and see how it goes!

My comic “Lone Stitcher” is the story of a young man whose entire existence and understanding of the universe (and his place in it) is turned completely upside down in the course of a few days. It’s a sci-fi / fantasy / adventure comic that explores my passion for aliens, mysteries, love, philosophy, and psychology. I hope you give it a shot!

Hey there, name is Samael Lynch

I've spend the past couple of years working on novels and screenplays but now I've been trying at making a comic.

The book is called: The Forsaken Phantom.

Middle of space, nothing you know is on the page. We follow a lone Phantom who's become a sorta mercenary. The name is Ronin, he cannot die. Nothing can kill him, which has been going on for a while now.

We've seen a lot of immortal characters, Wolverine for example. But what goes through his head when he 'dies' for a little bit. Does his mind go somewhere? I dunno I've never seen a comic delve into that. Really want to get into that headspace,

So the first issue deals with him trying to rescue a space alpaca on the planet Banzai-X which has been taken hostage by a Vortularz gang.

It sounds like a simple story but I want to use this to get really into the head of this loner who rarely succeeds. Showing who he is and what his deal from the very first issue.

I'm inspired by various things, Hellblazer, Hellboy, The Witcher, Boba Fett. And maybe a little Deadpool.

It's getting along pretty well. Know how the story starts and how it ends. The stuff in the middle is coming along but mainly I've discovered how much fun it is to sketch out pages, can't draw for shit but man it's so much fun to think about panels and how many and where they go. Also got a couple of artist lined up that I really dig so yeah. Progress is going pretty well, really liking where this one goes.

Hope to start crowdfunding soon after I commission the first six pages., But that's for later.

I found GlobalComix just browsing for alternatives to Webtoon/Tapas.

My current project is ‘Why Cicadas Whisper in Autumn’, a horror/thriller graphic novel; I like dark/horror manga aesthetics, so that’s what I’m going for..

Due to my creative decisions, production is encumbered (no script, no storyboard, no under-sketch); I’ve only made five pages in the past month .. they look decent at least, and I was able to cut those pages up to format them into a webcomic episode, which I’ll continue to do as I put the chapters together. I'm hoping that by not scripting/storyboarding/sketching, I can develop the ability to visualize and execute scenes on the fly, and streamline future production. This project even started out as a throw-away test, but it's coming together quite well.. thus far.
