What ghost stories do ghosts tell, and what can they tell us about ourselves? An estranged daughter and her father wander a haunted land; they only have the restless spirits, each with its own story to tell, as company along the way. After a deadly accident of which they are the only survivors, Lucas and Harmony Agate can see the dead-an overwhelming amount of the deceased, all with their own warnings, cries for help, and malevolence alike. But Lucas and Harmony aren't the only ones with this ability; there are other nearly-deads, some of which have malicious motivations... Cullen Bunn of Basilisk and The Empty Man acclaim is joined by artist Leomacs (Basketful of Heads), bringing readers the most eye-opening spectral story since The Sixth Sense!

The burden of listening to ghosts must be a tough one, on top of losing their entire family. The concept is a unique one, with each character having a different reason for deciding to help the ghosts. I read through the first couple issues and I'm curious who these other people who can see ghosts are, and if there's some ultimate thing connecting them. It's a super fun paranormal series, and I'm looking forward to reading more!
Crossroads, 11 pages - Published by Beeku Comics, (cc/ @Lulu-Bee)
Inspired by Hellboy, Supernatural and The X-Files, Crossroads is a horror comic with heart. Each issue follows a local urban legend in the state the boys are passing through while a larger, overarching mystery connects each episode. Excite your senses with our spooky cryptid road trip and how family never gives up on you with, Crossroads.

There's something suspicious going on at this camp! A heavy hitting start with a past between them and their father. Not expecting a slight jumpscare after they arrive at the camp, and I need to know more! I back this book on kickstarter based on the preview alone. I've been waiting to feature this book, and I'm excited to get my copy. Wonderful work everyone!

SIDE STORY TO THE DEVIL'S DAUGHTER The rebellious young girl of the school, Suzy gone too far, and now she gets her last chance to stay at the school! Her punishment after causing some big trouble is to help Ernie out for a month. Ernie is the schools pride student, who has good grades, and helps afternoons keeping the classrooms clean, and taking care of the school garden. Will Suzy just cause more trouble, or will Ernie manage to teach her some good manners?

This manga is absolutely adorable, from enemies to friends. I love Suzy as a character, she's fun and full of energy and seems to want to do the right thing, just... has trouble adjusting to the rules of society. I can relate to Ernie though, wanting to do "the right thing" but wanting more from life. It's a wholesome story, and it's easy to read in one sitting. It's got some romance, some laughs and mean-girl style drama. Please check it out! Fantastic work, Ray!
Jasmine of the Sky, 47 pages - Published by Panchu, (cc/ @Panchu)
Anita's favorite author is her long-time internet friend, Blue Jasmine. No one knows Blue's real identity--but Anita knows juuust a bit: that Blue Jasmine is a man. But, will she ever find out that he is also her childhood bestfriend, Isei? He knows the whole story, but she has no idea.

Imagine holding a secret from your best friend, would you tell them if it meant possibly ruining your relationship? Initially, I was drawn to this series by the cover, which matches the absolutely beautiful artwork inside. The vertical reading flow is great too, and moves quickly enough that it doesn't feel stagnant with huge empty space. I also love the changing of art style to match the mood. I'm wondering if Isei will ever actually tell Anita, so I've added it to my personal reading list. Keep up the great work, Panchu!
