Hey just joined heard about this site from a thread on Tapastic. - GC Forums
community
Welcome @ToDiaspora @JutaLovelace :)
@ToonBen great to have you here! Let me know if you have any questions or want some thoughts on how to best "acclimatize" :D
Good morning, if it is morning for y'all. I am also here from Tapas and Comicfury, as I have found both sites lean too far in directions that I'm attempting to avoid with the creation of my comic.
It's still very much in the developmental phase, but I'm working on an 8-year-old story that's finally gained some narrative traction, and it's exciting. I rather enjoy the small and tight aspects of this Forum compared to ComicFury's Forum (even though it's a site I rate highly for indie creators).
And while Tapas is great for views, I feel it's paywall scenario is a bit too overreaching in terms of what readers do and do not see regularly. Makes posting indie on there a bit intimidating.
I am excited to try this place out, and see what it has to offer. Hub JETIRKO is in no way ready to see the light of day in terms of uploads, but I am definitely going to make use of the forums to become a familiar face.
Thanks for putting this place together. Hope to see you guys around. :)
I shouldn't be surprised to see so many people from Tapas(not many online publishing options out there honestly. )
I used to publish on Comixology when they had the submit program and I really miss it. I feel lost in the wilderness right now, but gotta stay positive and put the work out there. Good to read from you all.
Hey, welcome aboard! 👋 Glad to have you here—and cool that you found us through Tapastic!

Everyone here’s pretty supportive and chill, so don’t hesitate to jump into discussions or ask questions if you need help getting started.
