Re: Introduce Your Comic and You! (Old Thread)
Sup, I go by Uzuki in conjunction with my longform fantasy series (for fun ARG purposes). The series as a whole is encompassed under the Project Reaper name but the mainline series that we're currently working on, Time Gate, is currently working through its first installment - Time Gate: Reaper.

We're still new to GC and are impressed with the platform so far, so we're hoping it's only up from here <3

If you like dark fantasy with elements of romance, horror, and comedy, all tied together with ribbons upon ribbons of time travel, then this might be the series for you :p

You can start the adventure with Time Gate: Reaper ^_^

Re: Question of the Week - Favorite Genre in Storytelling and Why?
I find I tend to prefer dark fantasy on the whole, but I'm always down for a good cheesy romance, no matter the orientation or combination. So long as there are good stakes!

I tend to stay away from mysteries though. Maybe I just haven't found the right one yet, but the only comic I can safely say I've enjoyed while also being a mystery was (and y'all can call me basic for this) Death Note. But I'm also just a sucker for Takeshi Obata's artwork lmao If it's a 'mystery', I tend to prefer it when it has some psychological thriller mixed in.

No matter the genre though, if you throw in time travelling, you'll have my attention ;)

Question of the Week - Favorite Genre in Storytelling and Why?
The forum needs a good jump start.

What better way to get it going than with a discussion question of the week? ;)

These questions will range from comic creating to comic reading, one each week! Discussion is promoted but let's ensure that it doesn't get too off track that it buries new answers! We've got the Official Discord for that! <3 And of course, while discussion is promoted, let's follow the forum rules and not be mean or judgmental of what others take an interest in. You can certainly ask questions that promote discussion, but no harassing, witch hunting, or snooty judging will be tolerated here. We're allowed to like what we like.

-------------------------------------

So, to start off simply:

What's your favorite genre in storytelling and why? Does it depend on who's telling the story? Do you only like specific genres under specific circumstances, or do you tend to favor one or two no matter what?

Discuss!

The update button when you're editing a post sometimes disappears when the post window extends too far downwards.
OS: Windows 10
Hardware: Cintiq Companion 2
Browser: Google Chrome

Issue: When you edit a post and the pop-up comes up, when adding more text it causes the pop-up window to 'extend' to the point that the Submit/Update button (whatever button you need to press to apply the update essentially) disappears into the bottom of the page and there's no way to scroll down to click it (as the only scroll bar you can click only navigates the actual text box and not the pop up; and the only other scroll bar is behind the pop up, clicking that cancels the pop-up and loses your edit).

Related issue but possibly not a bug: Any time I make posts or edits to posts, after hitting "submit" the loading doesn't seem to end until I hit Refresh. Thankfully refreshing doesn't lose the actual post but it's still annoying. It could just be due to an influx in traffic, though, and the server slowing as a result. Still, worth looking into.
