How and Why did you start making your current comic/manga? - GC Forums

I also started comic writing in 2020. As we were all locked down and I was watching the world crash, I started to think about how, or IF, superheroes in our "real" world could solve our problems, or if they'd get caught up in the same politics, etc as everyone else or even make things worse. And thus TEN was born!
I just kinda felt inspired to create a funny school series after rewatching Bad Education pretty much. That's what started it years ago anyway.
One day I was bored during independent study and was sketching random character designs. It was the probably the first story I made that I started to take somewhat seriously, despite how goofy and absurd it currently is most of the time. Didn't have a plot figured out. Didn't even intend to have a main character originally. Anyway, I just had fun with it and I never stopped since. My story changed drastically since then. WAY before I even started publishing it.
I started with 3D animation and afterwards I realized that this kind of technology could be used also for comics. In real life I'm also an author of novels, so I merged these skills to try comics as another way to narrate a story.
With this nickname I tried also some adult content, I liked the idea to try this genre.
I'm an author of novels and some years ago I thought I'd like a graphic novel inspired by my book. I commissioned an artist to do it and the results were encouraging, but he was very slow, so we didn't complete the job. Afterwards I tried to do it myself, using 3D renders, starting from a short novel I wrote afterwwards. I enjoyed a lot the process, so I decided to do some more. Now I discovered this site and I loaded some of my graphic novels here.
