this has encouraged me to start promoting my art on reddit, thank you🤍

@MsDollette glad I could help. don't be shy about taking a look at the Reddit community Discord server's library that I and fellow creators put together.

You can find the link before the small list. If you find new ones that work for your comic, you can also add them to the list for others to try out. ^^

Thank you! Also i have just a quick question: would you recommend promoting just because your comic/manga is published or after you have published? I just wanna make sure I start promoting it at the correct time! :3

@MsDollette In my opinion, you should wait until you have something to show. if you have nothing to share from your comic, it will be difficult to lure people to it. because they have neither reference nor teaser to it.

People's engagement with one's work depends on what they see. If there is little to none, they will just move on to something else. you need some bait to attract the eye of those fishies. ;3c

But nothing is stopping you from promoting your other works as a creator until you can share some content from your comic.

when i don't have any comic content to share, that is what I do. In the comment section of the piece, I add my comic link, so if people like the piece, they can also be informed that I am making a comic. It gives me a lot of extra views, which is quite a nice little bonus.
