How does one market after releasing their comic?

Hey everyone, I just released my new graphic novel and have no idea where to start finding my community.

I have seen a great post on the forums here from a fellow creator referencing several subreddits that you can post your work on which I will definitely start doing. I tried joining the discord server but am struggling a bit in using the platform.

As established creators with a following, what other advice can you give us to promote our work?

Hey guys, I'm a bit late to the party but I just released the first episode of my graphic novel and I'm trying to find my people :)

Here's some info about it:

1. Creator name: Lotuss Orb

2. Comic name and Link: The Lost Children - https://globalcomix.com/c/the-lost-children

3. My story follows Naya, the main protagonist as she wanders the chaotic streets of Kairon, struggling between two worlds of light vs darkness. She is set on a whimsically illuminating journey after encountering a life changing incident. It mixes themes of fantasy, adventure and drama.

4. I got started into making comics by wanting to tell this specific story of TLC. I am concept artist in the animation industry and have been wanting to bring this story to life for the longest time!

5. I found it through reddit. A lot of creators were very happy with the platform and I wanted a place that I can trust to first release my graphic novel in!

I'm looking forward to making friends on here!

Re: What drew you into making/wanting to make comics?

I was working in the video games industry for a while then transitioned to animation and films, but something in me always wanted to write as well, not only draw. That got me into making my current graphic novel. There were things I always wanted to be vocal about but don't know how to express myself in, in terms of media. I found that place in making comics.
