One story and group of character I'm invested in is Sword and Sorcery. So the games Conan Exiles and Isle of Siptah expansion, and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim serve as inspiration.

As for me, i think it's watching science documentaries and reading about how radiation works that made me interested in making a comic about space, radioactivity and mutation. Ha ha 😄😄

It's kinda hard to decide because I get inspired by a lot of stuff, but for shows I think I draw a lot of story inspiration from Gravity Falls, Duck Tales (2017), and The Owl House.

There is a lot like TMNT, Ben 10, Avatar the last Airbender, stuff that has adventure and action. I am fan of fantasy as well.

Dark Souls was sort of a source of inspiration for my current comic, though maybe not in the most obvious ways. It's not that the comic is a gothic medieval fantasy or that my character's deal with tremendous difficulties (I mean they do eventually but that's only part of the story)... it was that a lot of the plot isn't spoon-fed to the readers. I give my readers a lot of trust to figure some things out...

OOO! This makes me think of something. Something I always love to point out to my fellow writers is the website TVTropes! It's a site that has exhaustive lists of literary tropes for shows, movies, videogames, and other media. Honestly, I would advise anyone who writes... well anything to use that site! Looking up comics or videogames that inspired my stories to see what types of literary devices are used in it is a big help. Plus, if your so inclined, your allowed to make a TVTropes page for your own story too! I have one for my webcomic. It's not necessarily the biggest advertising venue or anything but I like that I can look up the tropes I used in my comic as a well to understand my own writing!

Pretty much any solid episode of Batman: The Animated Series. It's got that noirish atmosphere that Bullets Bourbon Adventures aspires to. But I can pull inspiration from many sources. Basically, anything from classic comedy from the 30s/40s to 80s Action shows will afford me something to riff on.

Absolutely! For advice and inspiration, I always find myself revisiting The Office for how to blend humor with real-world scenarios, especially in team dynamics. It sounds odd, but there’s a certain charm in how the characters approach problems, even if it’s through a comedic lens. For games, I often turn to Journey—it’s such a beautifully meditative experience that helps me think about how art and narrative can work together to tell a story without words. Both of these are great reminders that creativity can come from the most unexpected places!
