I picked up drawing since I was four and have not stopped since. My favourite art style is cartoon and my favourite genres are comedy, romance, fantasy and sci-fi. My favourite thing to draw are monsters/fictional races.
You should participate in contests even if you doubt you'll win because it is a chance for people to see you in the comic world. In the Great British Bake Off, everyone went on to do great things not just the winners. You may not win a prize, but you'll always win attention and new fans.
@EricTapper That's what I think. You might not always win, but who knows? You just might get scouted. Nobody ever got anywhere by just being a fly on the wall.
