I repeat...

have decided that because manuscripting involves a lot of rewriting, deleting, changing and such (especially when you look at Pretenders), I will no longer be posting Transformers fanfics (or any manuscripts for that matter) to the public. Just art and comics. It’s too much work for me to do so much at the same time. Because they may get changed and rewritten or even dropped altogether, it's not fair to me to waste my time posting incomplete works that may not even last or get completed at all and it's also not fair to my viewers to get attached to something that isn't permanent.

My new workload that I present to the public is that I do one original comic (currently Psychoborg) and one fancomic (which will be the Oplita ReWedding right now) alongside each other while writing manuscripts in the background and drawing up lots of art. Also, I don't want everything to be about Transformers. I have lots of ideas from original to fanfiction. To give you an idea, I have big plans for a Pirates of the Caribbean fanfic starring Jack Sparrow MY way in such a way that it disregards everything that happened after the first film (which is the only installment I liked).

More importantly, I want my original work to be seen and not get overshadowed by the fanfiction. I'm proud of both and I stand by that fanart/fanfiction is just as valid as original pieces, but I want them to be on equal footing.

AI will never replace real artists because even if people can't tell the difference between AI generation and art that was created by a human, they can tell a difference in quality. I mean, just look at how many film fans would rather see the old films that had props instead of the modern CGI dung.

Friends, please remember that a fantasy world and a story is not a mirror. It's a window. You may be able to see a bit of yourself when looking in it, but the point of it is to to look THROUGH it and enjoy the view. Fantasy is an escape not an autobiography.

This Autism Awareness Day, please remember that the most important thing about an autistic person is that they are a person. Be sensitive and aware, but without singling them out. They want to be seen AND included. Everyone is different. It's just that some differences happen to come with names.

Remember, even all you're creating is fanart now or for years to come, you're still creating, you're still displaying your talent and you've still got a chance to be seen, so keep creating without shame.

Go, you!

Hi. Someone made a comment about my attitude towards my work and labelled as a “pick me” attitude. It was insulting at the time, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that they weren’t wrong and it’s not actually.

Everytime I put up a piece of art, a literature or even a blog like this, I’m putting myself out there and trying to get seen. That is what it means to be an artist. You’re trying to be seen. You’re trying to be noticed. You’re trying to advertise yourself with the hopes of some company finding your or at the very least, convince someone to hire you for a commission or small time project.

And you know what? That is the right attitude to have if you want to make it out there in the art world especially digitally now. You should have the “pick me” attitude if you want to survive and climb to the top. That’s why I am also making more art than ever even if a lot is fanart right now. It’s something. It’s a means showing what I can do and I’m going to keep doing it.

So to the person who said I have a “pick me” attitude, thanks for noticing. It means I’m doing it right.

I am just going to put this out there as a woman who wants inspirational female characters in fiction. I noticed the sexist double standard that a male character can go through the meat grinder and come out of fine, but female one comes out hardened, jaded, traumatized, colder and a shadow of what she used to be.

This is in fact a very bad message to girls because it reinforces the falls stereotype that only boys are unbreakable and can bounce back from trauma while girls can't or else they will get shattered. This is not true, right or ok. It needs to change.

Ah, what the hey. I’ll just rip the band-aid off.

Ladies and gentlemen, MK_Wizard has deactivated X/Twitter and Webtoons for good.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I saw Captain American Brave New World and I say it is a great film and a great Captain American film. Sam Wilson is a good Cap and I LIKE that is different from Steve Rogers. He's himself and is humble enough to accept the shoes he was given are big, and I respect that.

A little reminder that even if your female protagonist is a super or an action girl, she doesn't have to be a tomboy, girlboss or bad girl. You can be a hero and a lady who is kind and sweet. There are no such things as personality uniforms when writing characters.

Am I a bad person or a bad He-Man fan for considering Man-At-Arms aka Duncan as iconic and should be played an actor who can not only play him well, but also look like him just like Iron Man, Steve Rogers and Superman's actors did?

Or am I being picky?

I just wanted to say Happy Halloween to everyone. To me, Halloween is a celebration of childhood, imagination, fall and the one time everything scary is beloved. Have fun, trick or treat safely and please, check your candy before eating it.
