re: I would love to be able to put a short note on my list items

If I am recommending a specific comic, it would be useful to have a brief comment on why I recommend it, or a brief warning about any content that may be inappropriate. If you want a specific example look at the three lists that I have created. I have one for "kids", one for "teens" and one for "adults". Clearly it would be helpful for me to...

Lock the footer on the website
On websites that have an "endless scroll" that keeps adding items to the page as you scroll down, it is nearly impossible to get to the footer of the page  which contains useful info and links. The best solution is to lock the footer, so it is always visible, or put all that footer info into a sidebar or floating...

I would love to be able to put a short note on my list items
I have three lists. I would find it really valuable, if when I added a comic to one of my lists, I could add a little note that would show up for anyone who views the list. So imagine you look at my list. There is a description of the whole list (that's already there - thank you), then a short description of each...

re: Let's just remove the "kids" Audience category already?

I tried using the imgur "embed post" code here and got a message that I was "Blocked"

Here's a screengrab of that https://imgur.com/a/OJdSxP5

re: Let's just remove the "kids" Audience category already?

Thank you for the response, the html thing doesn't seem to work for me, I'm probably not putting it in the right place or using the right tags or something. I have coded websites before, I am comfortable with html and css, just can't get it to work in this forum. If you can make it work, I would love to see what that looks like or have you post a...

Subscription description is misleading
When you subscribe, and pay for 1 year, and then immediately see a screen telling you your subscription will "renew" in 4 weeks, that is confusing and creates some distrust of the system. I realize you are tracking it by month, and after looking a bit more carefully I can see that the 12 months are all listed as...

Let's just remove the "kids" Audience category already?
I complained about this more than a year ago, clearly nothing is being done to monitor what comics come up for "kids". The Audience category says age 3 years old to 12 years old. - Really? The Watchmen? The Batman who Laughs?

  Example "Kids" list

Oh and this forum still doesn't allow me to post images for...

re: Can the tools ribon be switched off, especially in immersive reader mode? and panels to fill the screen?

I just took a look at a few comics and did not have that issue when in two page mode, but it still shows up whenever I look at a comic that has "immersive reading" enabled and shows a large portrait image or section of a page.

Is there any way to make my "Lists" public for others to see?
I would like to be able to have other Globalcomix users see my lists and be able to use them as a resource to access the kind of comics that I like and recommend. I have spoken to friends who have scoured my profile and they do not find any way to see my saved lists.

Is there a way to make this visible to other users...

re: reddit community supplier

This is so helpful, thank you for sharing. I have been at a complete loss for how to promote my comic on Reddit. I will give some of these a try and look for some more that apply specifically to my content.

Just getting started - feedback appreciated
Hello Globalcomix community, really glad that I found this site and hope that it continues to grow and prosper. I have just started posting pages for my webcomic "Tate Earthlander". I am trying to capture a bit of the "Paper girls" esthetic, but in a comic that is appropriate for 8 to 12 year old readers. Any feedback...

re: Can the tools ribon be switched off, especially in immersive reader mode? and panels to fill the screen?

Just to clarify the above post, for me, on these two browsers (Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome) this only seems to happen on full page images. I set up my comic with panels to take advantage of the "Interactive view" (which I think is awesome by the way), but it seems like when I include a full page panel, that it always gets cut off at the top....

Primary project is the Tate Earthlander webcomic. I am randomly active on other social media. It has been a while since I updated this webcomic, but I am planning to continue the story in 2025 and keep it going until the story is complete.

Page view or scrolling panels?
Wondering what everyone's preference is. When looking at the site on my phone, scrolling panels seem to be easier to read in portrait, full pages are pretty good if I tilt the phone to landscape and scroll the page. On other, bigger devices whole pages look good.

What do you use to read on the site and what do you...
