More Punk Genres?
Not sure if I’m remembering correctly, though I do notice the only “punk” genre that can be applied to comics is “cyberpunk”. I’m sure there are more creators out there who create comics that fall in line with “Steampunk”, “Dieselpunk”, “Biopunk”, etc. I do understand there are a nearly endless amount of punk genres, though it would be nice for both readers and publishers to have access to at least a few more punk genres.
I honestly have never heard of diesel and biopunk at all. Very interesting, and I'll have to look into those. We'll take these into consideration though as we add more themes! Thanks for the suggestions.
It's probably a case of the most popular one getting the category. Steampunk and Cyberpunk probably draw the majority of the that sub genre. If the market increase you'll probably see more options open up.
Might be a chicken or egg case since you can't prove the market for the sub-genre without releases in that sub-genre, but with only one option no one is going to release to the appropriate sub-genre.
