How to set up a booth at Comiccon?

Like the title says.... I am going to the Ottowa Comiccon (YAY) this September and other than having a banner and goods to sell, what else do I need? How do I set it up? What should I sell? Tell me everything and anything because I want to be ready. Even pictures of webcomic author booths would help please!

Thank you!

I would recommend watching YouTube vlog videos of people tabling at cons. I've personally never have tabled, but there's a wealth of content going over it all. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tabling+comic+convention

I think before you go, something important would be reaching out to artists in Ottowa and seeing if you can make some new pals at the event. Cons are a great way to meet people!

Here are some other suggestions of additional things I encourage you bring. These aren't all physical:

1. Have something to display your goods clearly with clear pricing labels
2. Make sure payment is easy and smooth (I can't recommend a product but ask your peers)
3. Remember you don't get a ton of space at most cons, so ensure you have enough food and water. Also get someone to help so you can go to the bathroom and the like while there!
4. Have a conversation starter that isn't just about your comic, people are there for comics but they've been marketed to all weekend. Make them feel like you're a friend that they want to support

Thank you, friends. This helps a lot.

Example of a booth I did years ago. Got fancy with a TV with a custom animation, small banner.

I love it and I love the display of prices idea.
