Worse page quality on mobile compared to desktop
Hiya, I'm relatively new to this website but I was drawn to it due to the freedom with page sizes. However I noticed that there is nasty jpeg artifacting on the mobile versions of my chapters (particularly on chapter 3 which is the first one to be in full color) so I was just wondering why that's the case, and how I can prevent that from happening? Currently none of my chapters are published as of right now, but they probably will be soon. I should also clarify that when I mean mobile, I'm mainly talking about the browser version and not the app

We have determined the pixelation that you are seeing is a result of the image compression for mobile viewing. Compressing images is done to make them friendlier for internet bandwidth and to help them load more quickly on mobile devices, especially those not connected to wifi. Some artifacts, in this case, the pixelation, is to be expected when you zoom into a compressed image.
We recommend to creators to make sure the images you are uploading are consistent, width, height, and DPI for the best possible results. Uploading high quality files will also help reduce the artifacts that can appear in compression. For color images, we also recommend JPEG format.
