New here, I would like an honest feedback on my webcomic!!
As the title says, I'd like an honest feedback on my work! This is the first time for me publishing here. Actually this series is already being published on webtoon since august, where I'm already at episode 10! Let me know in the comments !
Hey there! I'll take a look. In the future, share a link so that others can more easily find it. Is this the one that you want reviewed? https://globalcomix.com/c/boundless
I read the first two releases and I'm really curious how you came up with this premise! I think it's super fascinating! My feedback honestly would be to tighten up your artwork a bit. It's pretty rough lineart wise and hatching wise, but I think your drawing skills on their own are pretty great. Get the art a bit neater and hatching a little cleaner and it'll be a real solid comic! Very creative idea!
Thank you very much! About the art, yeah, I rushed the first three chapters because I wanted to publish them as soon as possible on webtoon ahahaha, but from episode 4 it gets better and better (I also publish every week so I have to take off something from the drawings :( ); but generally when I have more time I draw way better ahaha. About how I came up with the idea, I have no idea ahahaha but I'm really happy you are liking it! Thanks again!!
As for the visual style I agree with @ArtCrumbs. You obviously can draw and you have a keen sense of perspective and expressions and anatomy, but you could have spent more time on refining your line work. As it stands it looks more like you inked your sketches rather than a finished product.
As for the story: I felt like the pacing was a little bit slow. Also the character relationships could have been established more firmly. Are they childhood friends or just school mates? And why is the party so important? Why should I be excited about the party?
I admit the hook at the end of ch. 1 had me scrolling further to see what you would do with it, and just as it was getting interesting, the comic ended. So I was left feeling like none what I had just seen really meant anything.
