How many comics have you read?
Whether it be American comics, manga, webtoons, etc. Tell me, how many comics have you read. You don't have to list every single one if you don't want to; especially if you've read too many to count. However, if you haven't read as many as others have, don't feel embarrassed.
I'd love to see your responses.
That is a good question. I honestly couldn't tell you how many. I think I have owned/own somewhere in the region off 500-750 comics in my life, maybe more and probably around 100 or so graphic novels on top of that.
Since the advent of services like Marvel Unlimited and DC infinite universe though I have read thousands of issues over the platforms and now with global comix I have been reading a fair few of people's efforts on here.
I think the true answer to the question though is that I have read no where near enough comics.
@DicePoolParty By that last statement, do you mean you've bought all these comics without reading all of them yet, or that even with the amount you have, you still consider it a small amount? Because if it's the latter, I think my collection is even smaller by comparison.
@JanneKarneus Do you have ideas on what you're planning to get next?
@MComicman sorry for the confusion. I just meant that I always have more than I want to read. I have read pretty much all of the stuff I own but there are just so many great comics out there that sadly it is impossible to read them all.
I...don't know.
When I was younger, I liked reading the comics in the paper and eventually moved into reading them in books.
I don't think its been hundreds, but definitely quite a few. Some of my favs are Case Closed (Detective Conan), The adventures of tintin, the manga adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo, and Garfield
I've read too many to count. I used to have 167 comic books from a mixed of Marvel, Batman, and indie in the past. My collection is more or less since I have given most of my Marvel comic books. I have to finish reading my webcomics on Webtoons so I can make the transition to reading more comics on here. I'm going to recount my physical comic books/graphic novel collection soon.
