What are your favourite story themes to explore in your work?

Is there a particular type of story or theme you like exploring in your work?

I often find myself illustrating and writing about friendship and relationships as I find it interesting and always makes me happy. In all my graphic novels so far, the characters find friendship with each other whether it be an unlikely friendship or a deepening bond.

A range of things. My usual go to themes though would probably typical existentialist stuff like coming to grips with your place in the universe or making the best of a bad situation. The other one would be dealing with prejudice and imbalances of social power.

I love looking for difficult and darker themes to explore in my works. Tough topics that really make people think. I'm not really a fan of "escapism" when it comics to comics and manga. I want to be challenged, I want to grow and be better after I've invested my time into a story, so I think that reflects in my own work.

I also love exploring mysteries and the supernatural. What's real? What isn't? It's fun to explore that!

i just love stuff like mysteries and spy thrillers: hard logic, shocking twists, and people chess. outsmarting your opponents only to find that youre the pawn all along, and gray morality and stuff.
