How do comics get featured?

I am curious about this as well. Is there some sort of application process for featured content, or are these selected randomly by the mods?

@kazart and @DigitalNinja It depends on the feature. For things like the Popular Last Week and What's Trending those are algorithm based depending on the genres, themes, etc that are chosen that day at random. It doesn't matter how new or old it is. : ) We don't look at that. If users are reading or engaging with it, we feature those.

Something like the Fresh Friday articles are hand-picked series that we think should get more readers.

The front Carousel at the top of the Homepage updates each week and can have various reasons someone is placed there.
