Path to the Jade Stones review
I recently posted a 3D fantasy graphic novel and would love to hear your review. Link is below... thank you.

I myself use 3D rendering, so I first give you some opinions based on my technical experience, seems to me that you also use Daz3D. The boy tends to have the same facial expression, maybe you can use the expression to give more variety. I personally tend to flatten the 3D effect to give more cartoon like effect.
Another suggestion, for the characters or objects in the background I render them separately, so that I can blur them and give the effect of distance.
I post a link to one of my comics:

In some drawings it's a mix of 3D and AI.
Hi there! I took some time to read your comic and I have a few bits of feedback for you. I wanted to take my time to go over it. I think that overall, it took a lot of effort to make this. I could never make all these 3D models, I'm awful at modeling. So wonderful job on all that. Plus, 42 pages is a LOT of work. I draw my pages, and it's a lot just to draw, to have to pose everything and make backgrounds as 3D... so much work. Keep it up!
Hopefully my suggestions are just small polishes you can add to make it even better!
1. Lettering: This was the first thing that got my attention. Usually lettering is centered and the same fonts/font sizes are used unless there is a specific reason to change them, like a specific character speaking or yelling loudly. If you want some help with lettering, you can look here for some advice. https://blambot.com/pages/lettering-tips Blambot also sells a book all about lettering which is very very helpful!
2. 3D models: I think making unique 3D models for each character much have taken forever! Well done on that, I could never. lol However, the one thing I noticed is sometimes the skin underneath showed through the model and it looks a bit weird. A few examples of this are these pages:
https://globalcomix.com/c/path-to-the-jade-stones-1/chapters/en/1/6 (Last panel, you some skin shows through the green pants
https://globalcomix.com/c/path-to-the-jade-stones-1/chapters/en/1/8 (Top panel, upper right, you can see his chest/abdomen coming through his shirt)
If you can watch for those "glitches" in the model, I think that would help it really sharpen up!
3. Make sure if you are paying attention to character consistency. On this page as an example,( https://globalcomix.com/c/path-to-the-jade-stones-1/chapters/en/1/11 )When she walks through the waterfall, I can see that you just flipped the model. In the second panel, she has the bow in her opposite hand, and all her armor/clothing is on the opposite side. Take the time to actually pose your models and not just flip them (unless they are 100% symmetrical). It might not look entirely obvious, but in this case it was, since she has very distinct design.
Keep up the great work! I'm sure your next book will be even better! I hope this feedback was helpful to you! If you need some more resources, let me know.
