In an other dimension, exists a world named Karamador, inhabited by humans and human-like animals known as anhinis.
Karamador sets in a reneissance- fantasy time era, during the times of great dangers and legendary heroes. We mostly follow the adventures of Sir Kiljaos Windmane, the lion paladin of wind, a wandering paladin travelling around his homeland Pohjoland and the other parts of Karamador as knight errant, fighting the forces of chaos and helping those in need. Although Karamador is set in a fantasy world, many of it's locations are based on real locations and involve real folk tales.

A lonely lion paladin together with his loyal steed struggle through a storm and stumble in a dark dungeon, filled with danger...
This is the very first Karamador comic starring Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin, that I started working on 2012 but didn't finish until early 2017 because of studies. I consider it a pilot episode of Karamador, as it differs from the later episodes. Most notably how it's much more darker and violent and there's no dialogue at all.
Fairy of Tasku, the protector of the islands of Braheastad, has been captured! Can Sir Kiljaos and his new companions save her and vanquish the evil bandits?
This is the first proper episode of Karamador, featuring Sir Kiljaos Windmane the lion paladin of wind in the world of Karamador, in it's era of renessance-fantasy. This episode was originally made in 2017, colored and remastered in 2024.
The weathervane rooster of the church of Braheastad falls down in a storm, which is a sign that the mayor of Braheastad will die soon. Only way to postpone this fate is by accomplishing a great deed. Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin and San the lynx cleric will aid him on his quest and set their base of operations in a deserted house. But who is this Gunilla who's ghost haunts this house?
The lion paladin Sir Kiljaos is reunited with the fox pirates again and is forced to help them to retrieve a sunken treasure. But what happens when they stumble into a dangerous sea monster straight from Finnish mythology?
Fight against Iku-Turso the bearded one continues! Iku-Turso is not done for just yet and will summon a storm to sink our heroes into the deep depth of the sea!
Meanwhile in Braheastad the dark forces are gathering in a meeting to plan their vile schemes. Is that the same vampire who was seen in the shadows in "Gunilla" story arc?
Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin travels on the pirate ship to the city of Aborku to prove he's alive, get his horse Stormblåst back and join the grand tourney held there. On their way there Sir Kiljaos tells Zofie the vixen pirate captain how he met his horse Stormblåst years ago when he was a young squire and how his murdered belowed Annabelle was involved in it.
Our group finally arrive at the city of Aborku. Sadly the ways of Sir Kiljaos and Zofie get separated for now as Zofie has her own duties at the sea and also she's not welcome in Aborku, apparently because of some "misunderstanding". So Sir Kiljaos heads to Castle Aborku to meet the general-governor of East-Pohjoland to prove he is alive and get his horse back.
Zak the fox pirate is punished for stealing a knight's gear and identity. By Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin's suggestion he starts settling his punishment with forced labour, first working as Sir Kiljaos's squire during the jousting tourney. On their way to get new clothes for Zak he tells how he survived Iku-Turso's storm. Afterwards they find a mysterious musician playing and singing all by herself at the edge of the forest.
Sir Kiljaos and Zak see the mysterious bird girl getting attacked by a giant snake monster, which turns out to be a lindworm (a monster from Scandinavian mythology), and rush in to the rescue. They all together manage to vanquish this monster, and the bird girl introduces herself. She is Ydia the chanting goshawk bard from Afkambash, who joins the group as Sir Kiljaos's herald for the tourney.
Our group heads to rest for tomorrow's jousting tournament. We also learn that our new member of the group, Ydia the chanting goshawk bard, has a mysterious necklace.
We also briefly see how Zofie the vixen pirate is doing elsewhere at sea and having a serious talk with her father about her relationship with Sir Kiljaos.
A new day begins. Before the jousting tourney our group heads to the harbour to wait for a princess's arrival, who is coming to watch the jousting tournament.
While waiting for the princess's arrival, Ydia the chanting goshawk bard tells about her strange necklace, which turns out to be a compass that points at the forever raging tornado of The Storm Island, the source of all magic in Karamador.
In Karamador the deity of the wind is called both Airess and Windress. In Finnish mythology these deities (Ilmatar and Tuuletar) were different gods, but in Karamador they are the same.
The knights introduce themselves to the nobility before the tourney.
The coat of arms on the banners on panel 1 are the coat of arms of East-Pohjoland, based on the 1600's version of Finland's coat of arms.
