In episode 1, we meet Helen, a server at a restaurant bar. After a guest touches her without permission, she elbows him, and he bumps into the table behind them. A drink spills on his friend’s $2000 jacket, who demands that Helen pay him back for damages. She starts selling feet pics online to save up. Things are going well until Helen crashes her car into the back of a luxury vehicle. How will she sort out this new complication?
Episode 2 starts with the sports car driver confronting Helen after she rear-ended him. He lets her know he will be in touch with details of how she can repay his boss for the damages. While she waits, she goes back to selling feet pics and learning about crypto. She almost forgets about the crash until the driver contacts her, asking for a large sum. How will she pay him back when she can barely pay her rent?
In Episode 3, Eric wants to live a simple life tinkering away in his workshop, but one night drive changes everything. He and his father get pulled over by the police. One of the officers messes with their drone and ends up getting hurt. Eric tries to disable the device, but the cops get nervous and shoot at him. His father rushes to his side and ends up getting shot at too. Will the two make it out alive?

In episode 12, Helen learns how Jonas knew about the package she received. He invites her to meet some of his friends. They leave the party to go to his car as the scene cuts back to Helen in the hospital. She asks Eric what happened to her, and he tells her he’s not sure. While trying to figure out what happened, she freaks out about the hospital bill. Eric lets her know it was covered, and she breaks into tears of gratitude. He and Luca stay with her until she cries herself to sleep.
Episode 13 cuts back to the night of the party. Helen and Jonas sped off in his dad’s car to meet up with his friends. There’s a short walk to the meetup spot after they get out, and Helen injures her wrist while climbing over a wall. Jonas has a meltdown due to the guilt and admits to Helen that he wasn’t the one who gave her the mask. She forgives him for the fib, and they finally meet up with his friends.

In episode 17, Eric asks Luca to take care of Helen’s rabbit. Luca reluctantly agrees but eventually warms up to the little critter. Back at the hospital, Helen finally gets to check in on Jonas. He’s in worse condition than she feared, and she starts to get emotional as she talks to his unconscious body. Before she can finish her heart-to-heart, a woman bursts into the room, accusing Helen of corrupting him. Who is this abrasive woman?
We find out that the woman who yelled at Helen is Jonas’s mother. Helen tries to explain that she wasn’t one of the friends who abandoned him, but his mother doesn’t want to hear what she has to say. She shouts at Helen and tells her to leave, throwing Jonas’s mask at her on her way out. Helen mopes back to her room, feeling discouraged as Jonas’s mother yells at the nurse. After things calm down, Inama tries to cheer Helen up by telling her to see it from his mother’s point of view.
In episode 19, Eric and Luca find out Helen is getting released from the hospital, so they rush over to pick her up. As they arrive, Robbie is dropping off some of her spare clothes. When he returns, Helen is already dressed and listening to Eric talk about crypto. The two old friends get into an argument about the most important thing for her to learn.

He covers for her and tells them it will take a while for him to submit all the employee records, giving her a chance to get her story straight.
