Juniper and Ivy sneak through an imperial space station intent on sabotage, Hector cruises in his aircar to that side of town, sure there will be trouble, the Azu await the Tuzat’s return as they roam the stars, Zirkus a cruel ringmaster leads his show through a ragged underworld, and all of it relayed by the Celestial Vagabonds.
The Celestial Vagabonds, weave stories and sing songs, through a ramshackle circus on distant worlds. Often, they depict two freedom fighters, Juniper and Ivy, who wage a covert war chipping away at a sprawling empire. Hector, a hapless detective, his tales of mystery and action are also popular. Tuzat, the mystic warriors, are another crowd pleaser. A strange collection of creatures, captives of a mean ringmaster, form an odd sort of family in the bowels of a rusty old ship.
As the Vagabonds unknowingly add fire to the hidden revolution, Juniper and Ivy grow bolder and the empire closes in on all of them. The worlds of the circus and the rebellion are about to collide.
