It's good thing that most of my work is done because my son handed his flu to me. I'm losing my voice, my nose is stuffy and I've got a headache. BUT I'm still able to do pages and it's a good thing I'm vaccinated otherwise it would have hit me a lot harder. Nothing a bit of Benelyn and Greek honey tea can't cure. You know what they say; moms don't take sick days. And it's true. I have also learned that artists don't either if you're running a webcomic. Well... bring it on, life! It doesn't get easier, but I intend to get stronger and better.

Hello, psychos!

Here I am again with goals almost within my reach. They are just in need to refinement and put into action. For November's desktop, I intend for it to act as a teaser for a future project which will also serve as my first ever official crossover-partnered project. I won't give the title away yet. You'll see it when it comes out as I intend to make it free as a gift. In the meantime, I working hard at finishing Psychoborg Volume 2's manuscript so I can start working on MK's Frankenstein's manuscript. And I am working very hard at staying true to my goal of finishing one page a day which hasn't been easy because life calls especially during fall. Top that off with the fact that I am also a wife and mother, and... yeah, but I got this. So despite the rough waters, I'm still on track. So be on the lookout for the free desktop which will also serve as a "trailer" for my first ever partnered project. If you're curious about who the editor is, it's my delightful editor HeaddyPigeon4180!

Hello, friends.

This week, I was set back no thanks to my secondhand Studio Pro aka the "Lemon" Pro. You see, we bought it off someone who was selling it because it was defective, but we weren't aware of how serious and inconvenient the defect was. The problem is the driver in such a way that it cannot update, cannot be turned off and most of the time, cannot be introduced to new tech or else it shuts down, then gets stuck in system repair mode. We tried everything to live with this problem, but the only way around it is to reset it like new. The good news is that I back up my work so I did not and never will lose six years worth of work. The bad news is that it happened for the fifth time and I lost a week's worth of work which means I've had enough. Fortunately, fate was on my side and found a replacement right away. It's not the state of the art type of computer for art, but it does the job and its reliable. I have also taken a vow to never buy secondhand tech ever again. Everytime I do, I live to regret it. I'd rather pay full price.

Anyway, things are back on track and I can get back to working on the comic and all other pieces which is good because I have the last part of a commission to complete. From now on, I am saving up to get myself the best tablet there is for art. Even $1 a month makes the biggest difference and one step close to my goal!

With that said and with October right around the corner, I have a special treat announcement that is no trick: I already have a fifth webcomic in the works even as we speak. It's going to be adaptation of my favourite monster story that also set the standard of how I write fictional races: Mary Shelley's Frankenstein! Stay tuned for details. I'm a huge pickle no thanks to my lemon of a computer. It has a serious flaw of which I cannot update or turn it off or else it glitches out. And sometimes, it may do so anyway when introduced to new devices like yesterday. When it does, I have to rest it. Thankfully, my art is on a different device so it is safe thanks to me backing up frequently. But this can't go on. I have had to resets so many times that I have lost count and as all of you know, a good computer is essential for making good art.So please, help a girl out in the following ways if you can please.

Hi, friends!

Psychoborg is still going great and has already reached its second milestone (50 Subbers) on Tapas! However, I need to live up to the quality and show love back by completing chapter 2 and finishing the final manuscript. Thankfully, I'm doing good so far. My intention is to finish a page a weekday at least, so always have filler. My other big plans for the comic is to enter it in contests once there's more to tell other than just the Prologue. With the help of my trusty editor and your support, I think I stand a good chance at making sure the comic keeps getting better. With that said, I also have side art to do such as October's desktop, the Halloween pic, Inktober and the Milestone page.

It's going to be a marathon, folks. But I'm gonna make it!

Fun Fact: Astra is amalgamation of the three most influential heroines when I was growing up who also stood the test of time which are classic She-Ra, Sailor Moon, Cinderella and Belle (Beauty and the Beast).

It's not the scepter that gives Astra her power. It's her own magic. The scepter is just a tool for concentrating her magic into a weapon. In fact, Astra's scepter literally is made of magic. She can make it appear or reappear when she needs it.

Psychoborg can't use magic because his powers don't work that way. Being the Champion of darkness does a lot for his body and before that, it is the reason he is a supergenius.
