Be a DIAMOND because you shine as you are, but you're also strong thanks to all of your combined experiences.
I am all for being sensitive, but can we please stop jumping to the most negative conclusion every time someone disagrees? Disagreeing is usually done with good intention. Please, hear people out. You might be pleasantly surprised.
February's desktop is finished early, but you can get it for free on my Ko-fi. These are butterloves which are lovebird-butterfly gryphons. Their wings are blank until they find their mate and once they do, the pair's wing patterns match symbolizing that they are paired.
Remember, not all stories are about you, but each story is about someone and their story is just as much worth your time as yours is theirs. Getting to know each other through fiction is really great and helps build bridges as well as understand each other better. We're not all the same, but we've still got each other.
You know what I believe? Normalizing is overrated. You will find so much more peace and joy with yourself upon embracing how unique you are. It's ok to not be like everyone else. Like they say, no one has ever changed the world by being like everyone else.
Like another comic author I admire said: equality is a natural and perpetual side effect from putting quality first. And he's right because you're looking at the one thing that matters and it can be found in anyone everywhere. Remember, the word "quality" literally is in "equality".
