The number reason I am firmly against censorship is because some things aren't meant for kids and it is much more beneficial to teach kids that than to bubble wrap the world. Learning boundaries is essential to staying safe and making good decisions.

The biggest lie the media has ever told us was that we are not loved or understood for simply being different, but I can tell you this as a sister, mother, daughter, wife and friend... you are not always going to be understood, but you are more loved than you think and loved ones will grow to understand you with time. Or at very least, accept you and keep loving you.

If you admit that you're creating a work of art with the intention of hurting people or making people mad, then please, take a step back and DON'T. Don't turn art into a weapon. Take a look inward and face your hurt the right way. Talk to friends. Get help. And then create so that you create something from the heart not hurt. Be stronger than your demons.

Instead of hate-watching, take up stop-watching. In other words, if you're not enjoying a media anymore, just stop watching it. You don't have to see it until the end if you're not having fun anymore. Just let it go and move onto something else that might make you happy. Or maybe it's time to take up a new hobby.
