Val’s outfit is great. I’m glad Darcy has her by his side too
Laylabelle97
that’s sad that Val is trapped by the rules. like Athalie Severin who follows rules for the sake of rules. (she’s not as spiteful and cruel as Athalie)
lennonade1964
they both have a reason to be angry it's a very deep misunderstanding on both their parts and it was just a miscommunication that snowballed into a very unmanageable thing. although I do feel that Monroe really stepped over the line and that below the belt hit about whose fault it is, that's not just a passing comment that you make a mistake and go oops I'm sorry that is a severely egregious comment because it not only is pointing the finger at something that is uncalled for to bring up but at the same time it also basically echoes the very thing that Darcy holds on to very deeply and I think ultimately makes him feel a very deep pain. you know he reacted better by grabbing on to her and kissing her but ultimately I think Monroe truly overstepped the boundary there.
lennonade1964
@lennonade1964: after closer examination, I realized that really Darcy didn't really have something to be angry about. his unwillingness to accept her help catapulted their relationship into turmoil. Monroe was hurting and hurt herself further more kissing Dave. Darcy was being antagonistic.
lennonade1964
Drunk Henry is violent. he really just needs to understand that Darcy cares for him but doesn't love him. I know it sucks but him forcing himself into Darcy's life is not a good idea.
Laylabelle97
toxic relationship, reminds me of Monroe and Dave
lennonade1964
@lennonade1964: it's good to see the Darla is showing concern. I also like that that means Darcy and Darla are going to start getting along. I really like the fact that Darla came to the Epiphany that she once loved Darcy. I really can't believe that after they had that meet cute once again the exact same way they met, that Darcy decides to go "I'm going to go wash it off" instead of trying to salvage it. Monroe really salvages it by saying they should talk but in the end he says it's hopeless in his head because he realizes that he thinks it's hopeless but he's only making a hopeless because he keeps shutting her out even when he realized he wanted to talk to her.

this was a wholesome chapter ❤️❤️❤️
lennonade1964
Darcy really did so it to himself. he preached and preached about doing things the right way and told Monroe how much she could lean on him and when he was down for the count he went back on everything he said. he was a fools. act that way with Monroe. George asked for him not to be mad and then admitted to something that would obviously piss Darcy off. George is so irritating. I really can't stand him. he thinks he's so cool but he probably just smells like alcohol, piss and a lack of deodorant.
lennonade1964
see this is exactly what I was talking about in the last chapter. that some people do Coke and drink to party but I imagine Darcy is using it to cope. that is a really awkward situation when someone says they love you. in my case it was very easy to say I love you but I imagine in Darcy's case it's very hard to say you love somebody when you don't get a lot of love showing your way. either way that's a tough situation to be in and it really sucks for not only Darcy but also Henry so everybody kind of loses in that situation.
Laylabelle97
man what a shitty boyfriend Darcy is being. I feel sorry for Henry, he tells his hungover cranky boyfriend he loves him and he makes it clear he doesn’t love him back
lennonade1964
wow what a chapter! not only the story telling but the art! it came together so perfectly. it is such a shame he witnessed it but it's kind of a consequence to him breaking it off with her. it is a shame too that this was the moment her realized the feeling of love. it is beautiful that he feels it but now what? he needs to get her back. Dave is a flash in the pan really. as Monroe said. terrible as always. so really Darcy isn't competing with anyone but he does need to put in the work to right his wrongs with Monroe. he hurt her very badly but like she said, she loved him. he just needs to show up and put in the work. I really hope he doesn't just give up. considering how he just got out of rehab. he's not the most vulnerable but now he discovered a new emotion so I could definitely be wrong about that.
lennonade1964
I cant believe he has to latch on to Monroe. he broke up with her. regardless of the back and forth they used to have. that is all over now. in fact he was the one that broke the cycle and stayed awayong enough for Monroe to find someone better. even with the circumstances the way they are. Dave can't choose to come in and pick up where they left off. I feel so bad that she is self-destructing. you really can't blame her given that Darcy breaking it off created a vacuum that wasn't there since Dave originally left. it's hartbreaking! (😎 see what I did there?)
lennonade1964
@lennonade1964: not to mention, Darcy doing coke!? that's crazy. it's going to get crazy from here. alcohol is one thing but dang coke!?
Laylabelle97
he’s not a good boyfriend to Henry. I’m glad George wasn’t homophobic
lennonade1964
see this is exactly what I mean. he has no good in him! not only did he kiss Monroe but now he tried to get into her pants. his motives are to hurt Darcy as much as possible so why would we value anything he has to say. especially with that bombshell of what he did I can't believe it how could anybody in his family forgive him after what he did.
Laylabelle97
haha it’s his boyfriend
Laylabelle97
not much incentive for him to stop doing what he’s doing
lennonade1964
why does George insist on being an awful human being? he decides to try to kiss me around when he knows that would probably hurt Darcy. he just seems like he has no good in him.
lennonade1964
this is so fun learning about the characters! I'm really happy this came out. also, those thirst traps at the end are fire. Darcy's abs are crazed good! break me off a piece! 😜😘😋
Laylabelle97
that guy at the party was pushy, with the sexual abuse warning I was concerned he had spiked Georgie’s drink or he was gonna force himself on Darcy. although it could be that Darcy just gave in from being worn down. although if a hot woman at a party flirted with me and came onto me I might be tempted even if I don’t really like casual sex all
that much. the first time I had it the sex was really fun, but she got dressed right after and unmatched me on tinder so that hurt my feelings and outweighed the fun of the sex
CharlieDVan
@Laylabelle97: the sexual abuse warning is for chapter 34 and it will carry an additional content warning.
lennonade1964
No Monroe! don't go to hang out with him just because he looks like Darcy! he's a scummy piece of crap! you can tell he has nefarious intentions, especially with someone that Darcy cares about, or at least did. there is nothing honorable about what he's trying to do. it is so uncool for him to try to drag her into temptation with alcohol.
Laylabelle97
@CharlieDVan: I’m glad he has Monroe now
CharlieDVan
@Laylabelle97: they are a power couple
lennonade1964
I know for a fact that Dave walked up to her was like "oh what are you doing here", but I know that he definitely had been stalking her because there's no possible way he just happened to run into her. how does he have the time to stalk Monroe when he has Hannah at home waiting for him.
HasteningMagentaCoach902
I wanna know why Darcy ass is so big that's what I wanna know
CharlieDVan
@HasteningMagentaCoach902: because men with humongous asses are underrated
lennonade1964
I don't understand the need for George to think that Darcy is self-righteous just because he doesn't want to have Monroe see him in that state. I don't think he should be doing that, he should be seeing Monroe so she can help him but I have to say it's his decision and honestly he doesn't need to be considered self-righteous just because he's avoiding her seeing that.
lennonade1964
I don't know what George expected after making Darcy sink into a pit of despair. does he really think that Darcy was just going to shrug it off? George is his brother after all, so I know he probably has a major impact on how Darcy feels. it's a real shame that Darcy is going in the spiral, he needs to really be helped by Monroe but him not accepting help is exactly the reason why his problem will persist.
lennonade1964
it makes no damn sense he would refuse her help. he used to be open, he was honest about himself. he created a bond where they both dealt with it. and now he acts like he doesn't need her one bit. he thinks he is helping but he's pushing her away. making her think negative thoughts and making her mind go astray. she's worried that he is going to cheat. or worse act like Dave used to be. and really it does not a single bit of good. in icing her out and not letting her help like he should.

he looked like such a petulant child pushing her with his eyes closed squeezed shut as he pushed her in the road. that's the kind of face a kid makes me throwing a temper tantrum and it's ridiculous. I mean when he comes to he says oh it was an accident, bro that was not an accident I was a choice. his affluenza really is insulating him for any kind of realization that his actions have consequences. I think they should push him in front of a car next.
