Hi there, I'm Paige! I heard about Globalcomix through word of mouth and decided to give it a try when I saw how much potential this place has/how passionate the devs are! ^-^

As for my comic(TENACITY), it's an action/scifi/drama comic about how far a found family will go to save a former friend! It's a blend of eastern and western artstyles/storytelling and has got a lot of cool supernatural power fight scenes, a female lead, and plenty of character drama to go around!

From a money perspective, I will say this: It is worth it and has the potential to be REALLY worth it down the line.

I have 14K subscribers on Webtoon currently, and about 660K total views. Per month, I make $6 ish dollars in their ad revenue program, plus I occasionally get $100 in creator rewards if I can manage to get 40K monthly views. Webtoon is REMOVING those creator rewards this month, meaning, I will now only make about $6/month from their platform. Other than video reward ads(which need 200k views PER MONTH to get), there are NO other ways to make money there now. Sure, over time I MAY get more views, but we're talking YEARS to get PENNIES of increased pay, for a series with 14K readers. Webtoon has reached a point where even the people who cleared their garden wall are making LESS than the meager amount they got before and it genuinely feels like we are doomed to make next to nothing, even if we're lucky enough to get huge audiences.

Here on globalcomix, I have a humble 7 followers. ONE of them unlocked a paid episode this month so far, and I've made $0.93. Not a crazy amount of money, but think about that proportionately to what I earn on Webtoon. If even a dozen or so people pay to read my most recent episode(only my most recent one has a paywall on it, so it's like fast pass on Webtoon), I can be making the same amount of income here as I do on Webtoon.

This site is actually giving you a CHANCE to get money, right from the start. There's no ridiculous threshold to cross and in theory, the bigger you get, the more money you can earn here. This place is at least giving creators a fair shot.

And that's just from a money standpoint. I think the features here are really nice and that the community is really welcoming. This place just needs some time. The devs appear to be putting in the work to make a really nice app and I think when it launches, many more readers will start appearing here. It's up to you if you wanna take a leap a faith on this place but at least for me, I think it's worth it.
