In this vibrant city, where mysteries abound and magic weaves its way through the streets of The Meadows, Detective Blake Simmons stands as a unique figure — a hybrid born of human and elf lineage. Haunted by the memory of his mother’s unsolved murder 27 years ago, Blake possesses an unyielding determination to unravel the truth and bring justice to The Meadows.

A fantastic start to a murder mystery filled with magic and suspense. First issue has such beautiful if not tragic artwork. I always feel for a child that loses their mother so soon, and I'm wondering how this impacts his future. Kind of curious what sort of world this is, so I'm looking forward to exploring that. As always, another exciting title from Wise Acre.
ElfQuest, 4271 pages - Published by Dark Horse Comics, (cc/ @GCpartnerships)
Discover the legendary ElfQuest! Chief Cutter and the Wolfriders are driven from their forest home by threat of annihilation. As they wander an ever- changing landscape in search of a new home, they are confronted by fearful and vengeful humans, power-hungry trolls, and other mysterious elfin tribes. Alliances are forged, enemies discovered, and savage battles fought in this epic fantasy adventure!

I've had so many people recommend this one and speak excitedly about this title being brought to GlobalComix. Now I totally see what and am so excited we have so much of this story here. I've only completed the first chapter, but I'm completely hooked. I love the idea of elves living with wolves. The magical world with trolls and fae, and other magic is always a default way to get me excited about something!
Root & Branch, 802 pages - Published by Root & Branch, (cc/ @Pinkilicious)
Ariana is on a quest to find the Great Tree, but this epic journey has taken plenty of wrong turns! She’s made friends and enemies, got maps and lost maps, and had some close scrapes; but with a clear path finally ahead of her - it’s the Great Tree or Bust! Root & Branch is an epic fantasy adventure with beautiful art, memorable characters, and unexpected story-telling.

A monumental effort from this creator. There's so much story to read, and it's all drawing traditionally. That alone is one reason to praise this title, but the story itself was also lovely. Usually we see humans exploring elven worlds, but this reverses that. We get to see an elven girl learn about humans while living with them, and then sees herself off on an adventure to explore the larger world. There's so much to love about this story. So far I've finished Volume 1, and I'm really looking forward to catching up to the rest. Great work here!
Side Quests to World Domination!, 41 pages - Published by Squire Maguire, (cc/ @squiremaguire)
Lady Fravelon, a former tyrant is banished to the modern world and sees an opportunity to conquer it. However, Azalyr, her trusted general now weary of conflict, desires only to live out his days peacefully in retirement.

Reverse isekai needs to be more popular, and I am ALL IN after just the first release. Clear and well-done choreography, beautiful artwork, a MC you love to root against (she's a baddie after all). I'm really insaenly looking forward to see what happens in the next chapter. I must know more, and it's gonna be hilarious. I can already tell based on the first chapter and description alone. Fantastic work to all of you!
