Got a need for speed? It's a great comic for all your thrill seekers and speed demons out there. Some bad guys just don't know when to quit! That's why we love them, though, yeah? JETX has some familiar feelings with some classic bad guy hijinx mixed in with an eternal game of cat and mouse between Malicious and Jet. There's some almost-breaking-fourth-wall humor tied in and some level of awareness that it IS a comic, making fun of tropes, the genre, and even the idea of writing comics in the first place.
I really enjoyed the care that has gone into the detail, coloring, and effects, especially the motion and speed blurs. Pretty critical to be good at when your character/s are crazy fast! The blurs are handled in a way that doesn't lose the action of what's happening. I also really enjoyed Malicious as his own character, and I'm not gonna lie, I think he's my favorite. It's a classic villain that I swear I can hear in my own head.
While it might feel episodic in nature, it does have an overarching plot, and having read only the first two Chapters, with a recent release of Chapter 5, I'm looking forward to reading the other three over the weekend to get up to date.
Redemption, 239 pages - Published by AWA Studios, (cc/ @ChrisF-AWA)
The dusty desert town of Redemption survived the apocalypse but is hanging on by a thread. A despot rules the town with an iron fist and controls its most precious resource: water. When that strongman marks her mother for death, young Rose Obregon ventures into the perilous wasteland to seek the help of the legendary gunslinger Cat Tanner.

Redemption has a score to settle! Who is good or bad kinda depends on which team you’re on, and I love that. Situational ethics are at play here, as well as the same old problems we always face in society. Having a lead female who is older, AND a badass bounty hunter, is unique. Older characters, especially women as main characters, is something we don’t see as much.
The art is gritty and isn’t shy about the dirt, gore. The action, the fights, the betrayals. It’s full of good ole-fashioned western style drama, and I’m all here for it!
Yuki Vs Panda, 318 pages - Published by Source Point Press, (cc/ @TravisM)
Ten years after a freak incident at the zoo, Yuki finds herself attending a prestigious college on the road to success, unaware that a panda bear from that fateful day has been hunting her down to exact bloody revenge. Nothing can prepare you for this outrageous comedy filled with epic fights, awkward romance, supernatural powers, and plenty of zigs and zags. Put up your pigtails! Sharpen your claws!

Ever picked a fight with a panda? Me neither, and I'm glad it happened to someone who isn't me! Revenge and destiny align when our poor panda runs into the girl who BIT HIS EAR OFF. Poor Panda. Poor Yuki! It's quite the oddball premise and that just makes it even more fun to read!
The art, emotions, humor, absolutely everything is on point here and I enjoyed this series completely. It's somewhat of a guilty pleasure read and light-hearted fun. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, I had to read it all in one sitting. Great work Source Point on this one!
You've Been Cancelled, 88 pages - Published by Mad Cave Studios, (cc/ @chrisfernandez)
In the near future, cancel culture means more than just losing your job…it could mean your life. The world’s premier entertainment event is CANCELLED – a live-streamed program where elite bounty hunters called cancellers kill individuals who society has voted to “cancel” following heinous actions or offenses. Our story follows Roland Endo, the world’s #1 ranked Canceller. Because of this status, Roland lives in a constant state of paranoia with a target on his back…

Vigilante justice hits the bricks with this comic. You mess with the people and Ronald will mess with you! Once you’ve been put on the hit list, it’s only a matter of time. But now, the tables have turned on Ronald!
Incredibly colorful art, a gritty, brushy, almost messy style blends all this chaos together. I’ve read the first two issues and I’m adoring the chaos so far. It’s not something that’s apparent or easily predictable. So it’s a lot of fun! With more coming out soon, I can’t want to see Ronald come out on time and reclaim his former glory!
