is there a way to add text before a chapter?
Hello, i am new! i would like to put some text notes right above a chapter's first page. I wrote the notes into the Chapter Synopsis but it doesnt appear anywhere on the chapter page. Do i need to put my text as a png image in front of the chapter images? Thank you!
Investigate things called Prologue, Foreword, Preface. They are things which are referred to as Front Matter. They are an integral part of the publication. They are not required, they're optional. It's up to you if you want them. They are very normal in most books. They come before the start of the Chapter along with a cover and a title page. Title page should carry copyright info and other technical stuff, ISBN if applicable. Then you can have the prologue, whatever you want. Even a dedication page. Then you start the Chapter, which is the start of the story. Checkout comics on this site for clues. Many use Prologues. Regards.

Hi there, I'd like to clarify what you mean. Are you asking how to add text to an existing page? Or wanting to add a page in the series/episode that you already have?
Hi anshiiiin, you do your prologue, whatever in some art program and convert to your upload format, as you suggested PNG. Yes, you then put that ahead of the main chapter (if you want to). Confirming, there is no text editor provided here. Yeah, create PNGs. Cheers.
