My 8-part comic miniseries is gone

About a month ago I spent a week posting my 8-part series "Dei Umbra: The Shadow of God" on Globalcomix. Today I went to check on it to see how it's doing, and it's gone.

It's still right there in my creator pages, so I thought I might have posted it incorrectly.  I scrolled through all the creator-posted comix available for reading on the site, and it's not there. My analytics page says 2 people looked at it a month ago when I first posted it, so it was live then. Now it's gone.

Can anybody tell me what happened to it?

Not sure what you're seeing but I seem to be able to view everything just fine. The site is running a little slow so images take a sec to pop up but it all seems to be there.

Thanks! I'll check again.

I'm just trying to check my comic series to see if I've set it up right. There are 8 books in the series, and I'm wondering if, when a reader reads one, it links to the next book in the series. I don't know if it does that, so I'm scrolling through all the comics available on the site, by category, hoping to be able to see my books as a reader would, so I can make sure it links like I hope it does. The disturbing part is that, no matter what search parameters I set, I never see it. I get to the bottom, where it says there's no more content, and my books never appeared. I have yet to see them on the lists.

Are you referring to the lists of all titles on the site under the "comics" tab in the main menu?  If so, you're there but each main tab sorts titles by a certain method.  I looked under "updated" since it's not so reliant on reader numbers and you're there.

Also, when typing the title in the search bar, it immediately pops up.

When a reader reaches the end of a release, a screen pops up with several options with one being button that says "Read Next Release".

Hi there, I've taken a look into your comic and most everything seems to be in order. When you are looking for it in the browse, what parameters are you using? I'm able to find your comic by searching your name and comic name. However, when I looked into your settings, you have no tags set up at all. You did fill out your other metadata, like themes, but I see no tags. Those are very helpful in discoverability, so I'd be sure to fill those out. Additionally, the updated tab tends to move quickly, so something from a month ago, especially over the holidays, will likely be down a bit on the list.

CMC is correct in that once you finish a chapter/book, it should take you to the next one or prompt you to keep reading, depending on what device you are on. I'm not seeing any problems with your settings, that could cause it to not be found.

One other thing that I found that I would suggest is, after your first release all of your pages are paid. I would recommend that you have at least a handful of pages at the beginning of each release to be free, like a preview. This likely could be affecting your page reads as there's nothing the viewer can look at to determine if they want to keep reading one of your paid books. Whether you add a free preview to any of your books, that's ultimately up to you, but we find more creators have success with at least a small preview at the beginning of a paid release.
