HELP! I was issued a Promo Code by Guerriilla Comix for a comic tier I pldeged on Kickstarter

I...don't think promo codes work yet for PDF downloads. However, it should've unlocked the online version that you can read in any browser.

No problem. If I'm wrong, hopefully an admin corrects me but I remember asking about this for my own works and was told it was coming but not yet available.

Well I reached out to the publisher and they say that I should be able to use the code. however if you are already a YEARLY GLOBAL COMIX member, the point of the code is actually worthless, as I can read the book due to my sub anyway for my $90 a year. I told them that if this was how they were going to distribute their books digitally, then either disclose that there is no need to buy the book from Kickstarter, as your GC Sub will already offer it to "read" , or just not offer anything to purchase digitally and just point them to GC after the KS is successfully funded. *sigh* First World Problems

Yikes. Yeah, they need to be more transparent about exactly what you're getting.

The only positive that might come from owning a code is that you'd officially unlock the title forever instead of just having access while you're subscribed.

At least, that's how I understand how the subscriptions work against promo codes.
