Introduce yourself 2026 edition!
Hello, everyone its been a LONG while since I've been on here, so I figure it would be great to get back into it by re-introducing myself to everyone. (I'm not sure if there is one of these topics or this year already)
I'm Danita and I make 2 traditionally drawn comics:
Maximum Chaos: https://globalcomix.com/c/maximumchaoshttps://globalcomix.com/c/maximumchaos
Vampire Search: https://globalcomix.com/c/vampire-searchhttps://globalcomix.com/c/vampire-search
(I can't add images, to show off my newbie skills!)
I'm curious, to learn about you guys and your comics, I need things to read!
Hello Danita!
I am quite new on GlobalComix, but I created a manga for the fun.
Funny to read yours. You can see how you improved your skills release after release!
Mine is here : https://globalcomix.com/c/gabor-raaka?lang_id=en
have fun with your story!
Hi Danita and every kind reader of this post,
I'm quite new to GlobalComix, comic book writing, production and publishing. I wanted to get into comic book writing 30 years ago but wasn't successful and settled into a more ordinary science based career instead. The dream never died, however, and in more recent years I started writing an epic graphic novel series re-imagining the Apocalypse as a humorous, violent, political satire. I ignored all the usual advice about starting small. My series is over 1000 pages long because that's what I wanted to do. That's what I do best.
I have learned a lot about creating comic books and, at the same time, found that skills learned in my day job (perseverance, project management, contract management, finance and team management) were actually essential to the creative process. Now I've released the first 400+ pages on this site and another 300 pages are already inked. I'm actually really proud of what we're creating.
You can find it here: https://globalcomix.com/c/the-unveiling
Please take a look and let me know what you think. The first release in the series (102 pages) is completely free and the first 29 pages of every volume is free also.
Good luck to all with your projects,
Andy
