Is there any point in making hi-qual graphics for vert scroll, phone user comics?

I create mostly high quality graphics for big screen users (1920 x 1080), but now I'm moving into vertical scroll phone user format - a bit. I'm wondering, is there any point in creating detailed hi-qual images? Phone screen users will never see that fine detail, so I'm thinking, what's the point? What do you guys do? Is rough and ready OK for phones? Honest question. Opinions appreciated.

Yes.

1. It helps us, as the community team when promoting your comics. We tend to be hesitant to promote comics that have low-quality art uploaded (and by low quality I mean it's small, pixelated, etc).

2. Whatever you upload for reading will be available on ALL devices. You can't upload something to ONLY be visible on a phone, so whatever you upload will be displayed on desktop as well. If it's too small, it'll look awful on desktop/laptop.

Hope this helps.
