Loved the big differences in each of the short stories here while bringing back familiar worlds! What a great way to show off the talent from the Talent search!

A victim from a vicious attack in her past, it's a shame it has manifested into a total obsession with catching this serial killer, if understandable. We all cope in different ways, in the end she almost got her wish, but not in the way she wanted. Hoping it'll all work out in her favor, I love a good crime drama! Featuring my favorite monster is definitely a huge plus too!
Prison Witch, 79 pages - Published by Space Between Entertainment, (cc/ @patshand)
Cameron Rivers has spent her entire life believing that she is possessed by a demon. The mysterious presence within her manifests as a little girl made of blue fire... and when she appears, nothing can quell her fiery rage. Now, after a violent incident leads to Cam's arrest, she meets a coven of witches in prison that will open her eyes to a world of magic and mayhem.

Having to monitor your thoughts constantly is no way to live. I can't say I relate to having a demon that manifests as a literal fiery being, but sometimes those intrusive thoughts get the better of us. I've finished the first issue, so I wonder what the coven has in store for Cam and how it can help her with her "demon". Love the black and white art too, which we saw more stories like that!
The Venom Lingers Still, 51 pages - Published by Justin Ryan, (cc/ @JustinMRyan87)
On the first night in their new home, newlyweds Ashley and Paul's infant son is attacked by a venomous snake. It's not a freak accident—the deadly vipers keep coming, seemingly targeting the family and threatening their lives, their sanity, and their marriage. The answer might lie in their tragic past, and the things they'd rather stay buried. Credits: Justin Ryan (Writing/Art), Ester Salguero (Colors), DC Hopkins (Letters), and Kat Vendetti (Editing)

A gruesome tale with a deep secret poisoning this relationship, literally! It's curious I've never seen this metaphor taken so literally before. It's done in a way that, once revealed, makes all the past events seen through a different light, much like my experience with The Sixth Sense (the movie). I love these types of stories, and REALLY loved the character revealed at the end. Really great creature design, though I can't say too much more without spoiling. Great work!
