@CharlieDVan: thank you for reading! The short story version is on Tapas and has a bunch of stuff I couldn't get into the comic. I always do a Halloween and Christmas story as a gift for readers. This one really hit me hard at time, we’ll learn about Rah’s child more when the comic returns to the July 2016 timeline in the next issue.

@bwillett: the kid side plot is based on my own family background with a relative who was ‘ adopted’, Rah drops a couple of hints- he misbehaved at church camp and got banned, couldn't date girls for a year- so he had a boyfriend and then begged to hear his father wasn’t disappointed in him. And I’ve also snuck in that teenage pregnancy is a subject that would be discussed. Rah never really meant to neglect Aiden but being so young he just couldn’t handle things. The Parents put a lot in him and Ade’s birth mom. There’s all kinds o’ drama in this roller coaster in 2023!
