Aaron had not planned on becoming a human sacrifice this summer, but that’s exactly what a group of cultists have in mind for him. Fortunately, he is saved by Myfawny, a beautiful, strong, confident woman. Who is also a giant bug. Myfawny and Aaron’s good times are just starting when an evil group known as The Philanthropists, (headed by their nigh immortal general) emerge to spoil everything.
Updating biweekly on Tuesdays
Aaron is just looking to get some snacks while he waits for his bus. I'm sure nothing tramatic will happen.

I was instantly reminded of my travels at night at truck stops and on long bus rides. Why do I always think Douchenugget's voice sounds like a evil methodical FogHorn Leghorn.
@AubDiamant: I’m trying to come up with a thoughtful response but your comment about Douchenugget’s voice gave me psychic damage because it’s so accurate
@AubDiamant: I based this truck stop off a real one I went to on a road trip with my family. Can’t remember if it was in Texas or Arizona, but some place desert-y. The car lot with the checkered tile and the dummies is pretty much how I remembered it looking
It reminded me of the bus ride to Arizona from Indiana (how I got out here 10 years ago) we were left at a Truckstop that was closed, it was 3am and the new bus pulled up and it was full so they had to tell new passengers to stay behind or try to find a seat, 1 guy opted to stay behind in the dark deserted area. I guess I wasn't wrong about the voice, it's what I hear in my head when I read his dialogue LOL!
That sounds terrifying. It also sounds like the perfect hunting grounds for Douchenugget and pals. I would have gotten on the bus and just be standing if there were no seats at that point. I hope you were able to stay safe. I got a voice actor for a dub of page 1 that I plan on working on after I finish A Rosy Duel, and it's pretty close to what I was imagining. We'll see if they sound close to what you imagined too
