A free comic with action! Drama! Comedy! Demons! Gay thoughts!
Milan, 1945: a meek young nerd enlists demonic aid to end the war, only to get in over his head with anarchists, magic, and beefy demons with no sense of personal space.
The exciting and emotional conclusion to Do We Have a Contract volume 2!
In the demon world, Cicero has an advantage: Humans are stronger, and without his True Name, magic can't hurt him. But that also means he's stuck until he can find a way to get his name back!
Body parts will be sliced! Body parts will be touched! Body parts will suffer extreme emotional trauma. Some of those body parts have names and families. Find out which is which now!
going absolutely insane in my gamer chair here, i felt like i got my vindication predicting what was up with Cicero all the back when he specifically gave Dantalion his name,... and now im left with so much more to rotate in my mind until the next issue!! serial storytelling!!! aaa
i have been meaning to write you a loving comment for a while but i have unfortunately been sick the last week or so but alas, here i am. you have such a delightful way with pacing. every scene takes as long as it needs to. every linger is a linger with purpose. the action flows, never over-staying and keeping the visual flow from panel to panel engaging but orderly. i love black and white comics so much and you truly just give me a whole new reason why. it's crazy that in medium alone i know so many who are stylistically similar but still find beautifully original ways to incorporate the aesthetic.
your character writing is also so lovely. there is so much humanity (ironic) in everyone. such a level of tenderness, of silliness. everyone is burdened with flaws but in ways that make them feel so infallibly real and relatable. i really fuck with it. i really can't wait to keep digging in and seeing what this awesome series has to offer. thank you sm for making it. :"D
I'm ecstatic you say so and love that you like the characters so much! I share your love of B&W comics. Limited palettes give me a nostalgic feeling for college and zines and local print workshops...Finding a lot of good ones lately! Art of Running Away and Souls Foreclosed being my current top of the list lol.

Damn, this issue came out intense, loved the actiony pages and really got into the scenes. And now I have no clue what is going to happen next!

Maybe YOU are a fortuneteller! Remind me not to drink your tea or feed your dogs. Or take you up on a quest to retrieve blouses.
