Veterano 79

After the War of the Pacific, Chilean soldiers return home as heroes. Yet, for many, reintegrating into society proves impossible, leaving them cast into ungrateful oblivion. Veterano 79 is a historical fiction work of action and humor set in 19th-century southern Chile, three years after the conflict. It follows a wandering veteran whose only mission is to stay drunk enough to drown out the memories of his past.
