Echoes Don’t Stay Quiet

But when he witnesses a violent weapons exchange in Crown City, the mysterious bracelet known as the Gift reacts to the danger and pulls him into action. Moving with precision and power he doesn’t fully understand, Pierre stops the criminals before disappearing back into the night.
Later, on a rooftop, he is confronted by Rebel, who warns him that the city is already shifting and that violence is rising across the streets. Pierre insists he isn’t stepping into anything bigger, but Rebel isn’t convinced.
Back at home, Pierre’s attempt to keep things normal begins to crack when Maria sees news footage of the masked figure involved in the alley fight. “Hunger”
Short Synopsis
Moments after the fallout of Issue #3, tensions rise in West Crown City as Pierre, Jaheim, Haji, and Marco find themselves in a volatile standoff. The situation escalates when a terrifying new presence emerges—Hunter, a monstrous figure driven by hunger and drawn to power.
When Hunter targets Marco, something unexpected awakens. The gold in Marco’s grills ignites with uncontrollable energy, triggering a violent transformation that turns him into a danger to everyone around him. As chaos erupts and onlookers begin recording, the threat shifts from Hunter to exposure.
Realizing the true danger, Pierre intervenes. Using the bracelet, he forcibly stabilizes Marco, pulling him back from the brink and dragging him out of public view before the moment can be fully captured.
As Hunter retreats and the streets begin to buzz, one thing becomes clear—new powers are awakening across Crown City. Some are driven by hunger.
And some, like Pierre, are the only thing standing between control and collapse.

Thug Man volume 1 issue 5
After the explosive events in West Crown City, the world begins to close in. Footage of Marco’s gold-powered outburst spreads across news and social media, turning a private crisis into a public threat. As attention builds, Pierre realizes the real danger isn’t just the power—it’s being seen.
Seeking control, the group turns to Tadari Santos Jr., a master craftsman who creates specialized suits designed to contain and shape their abilities. Jaheim and Haji receive refined, controlled gear that enhances their strengths without compromising stability. But when it comes to Marco, Tadari refuses to fully stabilize him, forcing him to face his power without a regulator.
As the city begins speculating and Pierre’s presence edges back into public awareness, the line between survival and exposure becomes thinner than ever. With cameras watching and pressure rising, the team steps into the night equipped—but not fully in control.
Because in Crown City, power doesn’t stay hidden for long.
And control is the only thing keeping them alive.
