In the city of Widowfell, everyone knows everyone. But when people start to go missing, some are put on edge while others turn a blind eye. Loretta Williams, a mute woman who has been shunned by mostly everyone in the city, believes there is more than what meets the eye when one of the missing people shows back up… dead.
