Lyndsay Porter has always been the quiet kid on the sidelines until her (unofficial) big brother, Michael, leaves to join the Marines. Afraid that he might be in danger, Lyndsay comes up with a plan to bring Michael home. With the help of her best friend, Cadence, Lyndsay tries to get everyone under 18 to stop being happy kids in front of their parents until all adults sign an Oath renouncing war.
