Once a promising and incendiary student journalist, Hunter Hastings’ fortunes just reversed. He’s been kicked out of his Master’s program, run out of the city of Austin, Texas, and landed back in his home town, Druid City. Hunter has no choice to get back on top but do what he does best; dig up a fresh, scandalous local news story. But considering the town he’s snooping around is the one where he burnt every bridge behind him on the way to Austin, the task remains easier said than done. Each volume covers one of Hunter's investigations as he climbs his way up the ant hill that is college town local journalism. Along the way he may have to deal with the consequences of why he was kicked out of Austin to begin with.
