The story posits a simple but profound truth: the toilet is not merely a functional fixture, but a modern-day confessional, a stage, a bunker, and an escape pod.
The narrative is observed by a silent, somewhat cynical, yet empathetic narrator—the "throne" itself—which witnesses humanity at its most vulnerable. Through a series of interconnected vignettes, we step behind the locked doors to meet the "guests":
